To apply for Nursing apprenticeship Programm in Germany :

Description of nursing apprenticeship:

All trainees receive two years of joint, generalist training in which they choose an area of specialization in practical training.
Trainees who continue the generalist training in the third year of training acquire the professional qualification of “Pflegefachfrau (female Nurse)” or “Pflegefachmann (Male Nurse)”.
Trainees who prefer to care for the elderly or caring for children and young people can choose ,instead of continuing with generalist training to acquire a separate qualification in geriatric care or health and pediatric nursing.

The full-time training period is generally three years (2,100 hours of theoretical and practical lessons / 2,500 hours of practical training). The training takes place at nursing schools and in hospitals, inpatient geriatric care facilities and outpatient care. For this purpose, training contracts are concluded. The trainees receive a training allowance during their training.

After two thirds of the training, an intermediate examination is introduced to determine the level of training. The state examination at the end of the training consists of a practical, written and oral examination part.
